Basic Bread
Ingredients
4 cups cake flour
2 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons sugar
10 g instant yeast
1 tablespoon olive oil
400ml lukewarm water
Place all the dry ingredients into a bowl and make a well in the centre. Add the oil and three quarters of the water and mix it in to form a dough. Add a little more water if need be, if it is too wet, add a small amount of flour. Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic about 15 minutes. Place the dough back into the bowl and oil the top, cover with a clean cloth and place it in a warm place to rise to twice the size. Remove the dough from the bowl and shape and fill it any way you would like.
Bake 200C for 35-45 minutes - if it sounds hollow the bread is ready to come out of the oven
Top Tip:
Place inside car on a cold day to help it rise
